Belhaven Student, Rachel Gorman, Performs in Best of Belhaven Concert

Rachel Gorman from Manhattan, KS performed in the Best of Belhaven concert which featured a wide variety of musical performances from the gifted students in Belhaven's Music Department. Gorman is a sophomore at Belhaven pursuing a Bachelors of Music Arts in Music.

"Best of Belhaven highlights the finest work of our student musicians each semester, with a smorgasbord of musical treats-everything from piano works, instrumental pieces and solo songs to chamber music, musical theatre, and new compositions," said Dr. Sauerwein, Assistant Professor of Music Composition and Theory.

This diverse concert gave audience members a glimpse into the many concentrations available through Belhaven's music degree program which include: Collaborative Piano and Pedagogy, Composition, Music Ministries, Musical Theatre, Performance and Vocal Pedagogy and Choral Conducting.

The Best of Belhaven performance was on November 21 in the Belhaven Center for the Arts, Concert Hall.
