2011 Dec 14

The DOXA Fall Concert is a student-produced concert with a purpose. Abriana Ahern, DOXA President, said, "The Doxa Concert serves as an annual fundraiser and is open to the public. This year we will be raising funds for Abolition International, an organization that works to eradicate human trafficking and bring awareness to this pressing issue to America and around the world."

The concert highlighted the choreography and dance styles from young, up-and-coming talent in Belhaven's Dance Department.

DOXA, which means "praise" in Greek, is a student-lead organization from the dance department that plan activities, outreaches, creative worship sessions, prayer ministries, improvisation sessions, and also co-sponsors master classes and workshops.

The DOXA Fall Dance Concert was on November 30 and December 1 in the Bitsy Irby Visual Arts and Dance Center.
