Ethan Polson Performs in Belhaven's 6th Annual One Act Play Festival

2011 Dec 19

The 6th Annual One Act Play Festival is an evening of short plays acted, produced, and directed by Belhaven theatre students. Theatre students showcase their hard work from the fall semester by combining their production, supervising and directing skills to create these one act plays. Ethan Polson from Ankeny, IA performed in this play. Polson is a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Belhaven University.

Joe Frost, Chair of the Theatre Department and Assistant Professor of Theatre said, "It's a great opportunity for our students to learn the art of collaboration in the classroom and in production all in the same project. We're so pleased that it is in its 6th year and still able to present exciting new short works to our audience."

The 6th Annual One Act Play Festival was on November 29-30 in the Belhaven's Blackbox Theatre. Winning short plays from the Belhaven One Act Play Competition were selected for this year's festival. The performance raised money to benefit Belhaven's Alpha Psi Omega chapter of the National Theatre Honor Society by selling desserts.
