Joy Patterson Was Awarded Top Honors at Belhaven University

Belhaven University awarded Joy Patterson with the Elizabeth Spencer Creative Writing Award at the 2013 Honors Convocation on April 9, 2013 at the Center for the Arts Concert Hall. Patterson is from Jackson, MS and is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Belhaven University.

Belhaven University's Annual Honors Convocation awarded some of the highest academic honors to the year's top performing students. Many academic awards were presented to students who not only achieved scholastic success, but also showed character, service and spiritual growth.

Faculty presenters praised the accomplishments of students and proudly announced the honors award winners.
